Over the past fifteen years, alongside my own writing, I've worked variously as a script reader, script editor, script doctor and script consultant, as well as teaching screenwriting at institutions including the London Film School and MetFilm School on both BA, MA and short courses.
I have read scripts for Universal, the BFI, the Script Factory and Industrial Scripts among others, and served as script consultant on the Film London Microwave project HOMEBOUND (formerly 'THE VISITOR') as well as script editor on the Harvey Keitel vehicle CHOSEN, and am currently script-editing an original TV project for production company DisAuthority.
I have mentored numerous BA and MA screenwriting students as well as, for three years, being Programme Leader for MetFilm School's BA in Practical Filmmaking. I continue to mentor several emerging screenwriters, with a focus on writers from underrepresented backgrounds.
I've also given talks on a variety of subjects including thriller-writing at the London Screenwriting Festival.
